Calling all aspiring soapbox racers!
On the 21st of September 2025, Windmill Hill in the heart of Hitchin town will be alive with the sound of real racing.
Do you have what it takes to design and
build a soapbox racer?
Do you have the guts to launch yourself, hell-for-leather down the hill, in a do-or-die bid to be the
Soapbox Hero of Hitchin?
If the answer is yes, download the application form below, get your team together and get designing.
Places are limited to 50 teams.
All applications subject to approval

Entry fees
£150 for private teams
£250 for corporate teams
Application closing date June 30th 2025.
Application forms can be returned in person to the Visit Hitchin office or via email hitchinsoapboxderby@gmail.com
